Who I help

I work with professionals
who use English every day
in high-stakes contexts
and want their communication
to match their expertise.

Legal Professionals

Other Professionals

  • In-house counsel and

law firm lawyers

  • Legal translators and

legal editors

  • Contract managers and compliance professionals

  • Civil-Law trained attorneys

in LLM programs in the U.S., U.K. and Canada

  • Executives, founders, and team leaders

  • Consultants, project and product managers

  • IT and tech professionals working in global teams

  • Psychologists, therapists, and coaches who serve English-speaking clients

If English is the language of your work,
but not your first language,
you are in the right place.

Do these challenges
sound familiar?

  • You can express complex ideas in your field,

but not as clearly in English.

  • You hesitate in meetings

because you can’t find the right wording fast enough.

  • You worry about sounding abrupt, unclear,

or “less professional” than you are.

  • You rewrite emails several times to get the tone right.

  • You prepare too long for presentations

because English drains your confidence.

  • You sometimes feel your English holds you back

more than your expertise moves you forward.

If any of this sounds familiar,

communication coaching

can help you move forward with confidence.

Imagine being able to…

  • Express your ideas clearly and confidently in any meeting

  • Communicate complex concepts in English

without overthinking

  • Write emails that sound polished, natural, and professional

  • Deliver presentations that feel calm, structured,

and persuasive

  • Participate fully in discussions instead of holding back

  • Feel like your true professional self — also in English

Communication
becomes a career advantage,
not a barrier.

About

I’m a lawyer-linguist, educator, and communication coach with over 20 years of experience teaching professionals how to express their expertise clearly and confidently in English.

I’ve taught Legal English and professional communication at Georgetown Law, NYU, and Universidad Austral, and have worked as a legal-linguistic consultant for international organizations, law firms, and global teams.

My work brings together deep language expertise, cross-cultural understanding, and a warm, practical coaching style that helps you feel confident — not judged — as you grow.

Meet Paula

Tomasz, Poland

“Paula is very competent as both a lawyer and a linguist. Her broad experience in both fields is invaluable in a teaching/learning process... She puts a lot of effort to figure out a way to properly describe specific problems from your country's legal system in English which is both crucial in most lawyers work and very hard to do."

Delia, U.S.A.

"Learning from Paula has been an empowering experience. She's been so supportive and motivating that I feel comfortable practicing tough business conversations, thinking on my feet, while focusing on pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. ... Her mentorship inspires me to be a better manager... the value of her lessons far exceeds her price…."

Rimma, Spain

“Lessons with Paula are so interesting, exciting, useful, various. Really recommend this Teacher for learning and improving your English!.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my English good enough for coaching? Yes — if you are B2 (upper-intermediate) or above. A simple way to know you’re at the right level: ✔️ You can have conversations in English ✔️ You understand others and can make yourself understood ✔️ You sometimes struggle with precision, fluency, or sounding professional ✔️ You want to communicate more clearly and confidently at work If you’re just beginning to learn English, or you cannot yet hold a conversation, this coaching is not the right fit.

What is the difference between communication coaching and English lessons? Coaching focuses on real professional communication — meetings, presentations, negotiations, emails, interviews — not textbook grammar. You learn practical strategies to express your expertise with clarity, confidence, and authority.

Do you only work with lawyers? No. I coach professionals from many fields, including law, business, tech, psychology, academia, consulting, and international organizations.

How long does it take to see results? Most clients see meaningful improvement within a few weeks. Because the coaching is practical and tailored to your professional context, you apply what you learn immediately.

Do you offer coaching for teams and organizations? Yes. I design customized workshops and communication training for teams working in multilingual or cross-cultural environments.

Can my company pay for coaching? Yes. Many clients use professional development budgets or have their employer sponsor their sessions.
